Effective July 7, 2025, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has published changes to the Mandatory Guidelines for Federal Workplace Drug Testing Programs. These updates include standardized nomenclature for THC and its metabolites to enhance clarity and consistency in reporting.

As a result, eScreen MRO-verified reports will reflect updated nomenclature for Marijuana Metabolite on all HHS-, DOT-, and NRC-regulated tests.

Current Drug Test Name: Marijuana Metabolite
New Drug Test Name: Marijuana Metab. (delta9THCC)
